Our Story

We both grew up in Minnesota. In 2011, we were introduced by mutual friends at a book club meeting at the Turf Club in St. Paul. At the time Dana was teaching in Mississippi, but she moved back to Minnesota in 2012, and we’ve lived together in Minneapolis since 2013. On our tenth anniversary of dating, in 2021, we were at a lakeside camp in Grand Rapids when we decided to get married.
